Hi just returned and finished the above so ran 3 times for 30 mins and reached 4.2Km not 5Km , slow jogging pace but finished C25K!!
Although the last 15 mins I seem to establish a rhythm and reasonable pace which felt comfortableish for me !!
The completion is a resounding achievement / accomplishment for me opposed to the actually running . However I felt ok , breathing fine but stiff legs after 5 mins and I did a warm up in advance and was hydrated , so no idea why ?
When I look back I’m amazed and pleased as I never thought I could 3 mins never mind 30 mins straight . Just proves with time and commitment your fitness , stamina and endurance improved dramatically.
However new running trainers helped my landing foot technique and my feet felt lighter .
I also want to thank all the people in this community who gave me advice/ tips and the supportive motivation to keep pushing forward - thank you - very much appreciated.
So no more targets, distance or time Laura I’m just going to run for fun and enjoy ( hopefully) the freedom of exercise.
Not sure what happens now but I’m trusting I will run regularly for pleasure .
