Set off this morning after 2 day break, should have done it yesterday but was travelling back from Scotland. Wow this is just as everyone said. It was TOUGH!!! The first 5 mins I really felt it on my knees and then started to warm up a bit. 8mins was a killer and I nearly stopped too soon cos Jo said ‘well done ............so far! another 60 seconds to go! Nearly died. But I didn’t and kept going. So now that’s out of the way bring it on R3 😀
W6R1 - you were all right! : Set off this... - Couch to 5K
W6R1 - you were all right!
Well done ! 😁
Yes, it's easy to be caught out here but you completed it ! Great 👍
One more run of intervals and then onwards to the 25 minutes !
Congratulations 👍
Well done for keeping going. W6R1/R2 were both distinctly experiences odd after the 20 minute run of W5R3.
No more intervals from W6R3 onwards, just plain unadulterated running.
Good luck with the rest of your journey.
Well done on getting that one done and dusted! 😁 👍
For me that was maybe the hardest run of the whole program.
Only one more interval run and then you are on the homeward stretch.
You've so got this now!!!
This one comes as a shock doesn’t it? well done though you are doing great
Gah, I remember that run... I did the same with the false relief before finding out it was another minute! I'd forgotten about it til reading your post!! It really gets easier after this, just keep powering through!
W6R2 is a tiny bit shorter in total, but more of it is running. Swings and roundabouts. That's how this programme works.
Oh right well I guess we have to trust in the programme but it is totally weird how R1 makes you feel. I almost felt like I’d taken a step backwards- that’s how it made me feel! Gonna make sure I drink loads of water and eat well for the next run. 😀
On the podcast with w6r1 one of the tracks is "Not so Easy", possibly the most appropriately chosen music section in the programme so far. It has a good tempo though, which matched the pace I wanted to do and that actually got me through the last 5 minute run.
