W7D1 - what a pleasant surprise

Greetings,

I've been ghosting this hub for quite some time and in celebration I finally decided to make an account and share my achievement

It's been 6 weeks since I started c25k struggling though first days as my lifestyle is quite sedentary and I'm slightly overweight

However today was special as I was able to push through limits in my mind and actually graduate early. I was reading stories of people reaching such highs but I never believed I could be one of them.

Thanks for support

Well done , but how did you manage to complete a 9 week course in 6 weeks ??

Thanks, I don't think I did anything special, I kept closely to the program and ran every other day and kept my average daily steps above 9-10k. Started low carb diet and tried to eat healthy.

22 minutes run was still a bit of a struggle because my legs hurt a bit, but today they didn't hurt and when I was at 25 minute mark and got notification to start my cooldown. I asked myself the usual question "Do my legs hurt and is my breathing fine?" and since everything was fine, I kept going

Sorry, still confused .

So you completed all 27 runs ?

6 weeks x 3 runs so it's 18 runs and this was my 19th run where I just kept going past the 25 minute mark. Sorry If it's been confusing, english isn't my first language

The c25k course is 27 runs not 18

It's couch to 5k not couch to 27 runs so what's the problem? I've seen other "graduated early" so I really don't understand what are you going on about

Either way seems like you are having a bad day so cheery up

Good to hear, but I think I know what you are going on about - It's about badge, but don't worry, in your honor I will do next w7d2 and w7d3 for 30m instead of 25m 👍
