Well this morning I finally finished this magic programme and honestly I cant quite believe it
9 weeks ago if someone had told me You can do this I would have laughed but somehow i have.
The story......brief version
I am a 52 year old who has for the last 10 years put everyone else first. In Feb my father passed away my husband taken a sabbatical and lockdown loomed. I was left with something which is precious and havnt had and that is time
Lockdown for me came at a good time I had time to grieve and reassess.
i was bullied(in a nice way) by a good friend into c25k. She sent me messages of her singing rocky etcπ€£ and I thought go on try
I havnt looked back. I have diligently listened to MJ who has told me I can do this and guess what. I HAVEπ
My reward is I an happier and am looking at life differently and i am fitter than i have ben for years.
So thank you all for your support and advice its been a huge part of this journey which I am just starting.
Oh and i have just bought my first pair of running shoes!
Just believe you can do this! If i can so can you

I had Michael, too - it was great while it lasted, but I dumped him as soon as I graduated. We agreed to remain friends π, but I donβt miss him. I think I may have been one of many!
I have a similar story to you. My mother passed away in March. It has been a very thought time. I took up running as a away of focusing on something positive.
Congratulations it is a great feeling isn't it? I actually cried when I had done run 1 of week 9. I enjoy repeating my week 9 runs now for the moment I am happy to keep doing them.
I cried run 9/1 too. Couldnt explain it? I am off to the lakes today to bask in the glory(or will it be swim π) then back to consolidate on Thursday πββοΈ
Congratulations! The bit you wrote about your friend singing the Rocky theme made me laugh! Thatβs just what happened to me! I took up the challenge too but refuse to put that song on my playlist! Well done - you must feel brilliant! X
Thatβs fab, took a pandemic for me to do it too. So grateful for my health. The challenge now is to continue running whilst back at work . Might need that rocky music again lol π
So sorry Iβm late, but Iβm catching up, been busy with little ones...
