After 11 days off tomorrow I will run again, starting week 6

I'm a bit worried that I'll struggle and it will have a negative effect on me. I finished week 5 on such a positive and feeling so good with what I had achieved.

I'm pleased it's a run with intervals, a bit of a gentle step back in, I hope!

One thing I have noticed with having this short time off is how much I've missed it and I've really notice the good it had done for me. Although I'm slow and only half way through the program I've really noticed the health benefits physically and mentally

I'm looking forward to tomorrow and going out again, I'm just a little nervous how I'll cope and feel afterwards

You will be fine- you don’t lose significant fitness upto two weeks.

Just take it slowly & gently & relax into your run. Many people go too fast on W6R1 & find it tough because of that, SLOW is your friend!!😉

Thank you, I think I'm just over thinking it

And slow is definitely my friend 😊

Hey, good to see you back ! 👍

Just go out without any expectations !

Set the app for your next run and just see what happens,

Don't pressure yourself to complete it !

If you do that's great, if you don't then your at least one step closer to completing it .

Take the pressure off yourself and just try and enjoy the fact your out there Running again 😁👍

I know, I'm over thinking it. I'm looking forward to it, which I never thought I'd say!! I'm a little intrigued to see how well/bad I do, to see what effect the previous weeks have done for me and how quickly I can get back into it

Part of me is worried I'll be back to week 1 (I know that's daft)

I think you will surprise yourself (in a good way 😁)

🤞

That’s the same thing I’m worried about, I’ve been on the injury bench for just over a week now, I’m going out tonight to do my final run of week 8 , good luck with your run and just take it easy

Ohhh Welcome back- I hope you have had a nice week off!

Slow and steady - you got this remember!

You did the 20 minute run as your last run!....

Week 6 I didn't like the intervals but with you having a week off you may just appreciate them!.

Remember - its practice if you don't and woohoo if you do! :-)

YOU got this lady - youve earned the right to be at week 6 and by the sound of it.. the running bug has bitten you .. as youve missed it! :-)

Your determination has got you this far and will continue to help you through the runs

I look forward to reading your post!

Thank you as always your words are a joy to read 🥰

I think I will appreciate the I torvald after a break, that's why I made sure I completed week 5 before I stopped

It was a lovely week, a bit boozy so that might go against me! But had lovely days with the kids.
