After two week 7 runs that went well (steady pace, didn't completely flop at the end) I decided to attempt to up my pace, as I am only covering 2.8km in the 25mins.
It was a bad idea.
I had two separate 1min walks, I completed my run exhausted and realized that I need to stick with snail's pace for now haha. However, I did cover 2.92km and was running my quickest average pace yet, including the walks!
Onto week 8 next week as I know I'm more than capable of the 25mins, I just need to keep it slow! Bring on graduation so I can start pushing pace without 'failing' the run (I know I've not failed it, but you know what I mean!)
(I posted this in case anyone on earlier weeks is searching for advice- STAY SLOW!!!)

I had a 1min walk at 15mins, then 30secs at 20mins. I've completed the run twice (technically 3 times if you include week 6 run 3) so I'm comfortable in doing it! Just tried [and failed] to up my pace this time haha
I'd suggest you stick with the programme, it's tried and tested, and works! Upping your pace can happen in consolidation, if that's what you decide, or you could increase duration. All slowly and steadily. Remember the 10% rule. Happy running 🏃🏃♀️💥
