To anyone just starting c25k..... I’ve completed wk 6 today 🙏🥵

Honestly folk I’m 56 slightly overweight and generally unfit.... it’s not easy but definitely do-able. Tip... don’t run against north east wind on Mablethorpe sea front. Was like running up a hill. I call myself a plogger. A mix of a plod and jog 😂

Good luck 😉 and we’ll done to all c25k folk 👍

Congratulations on completing week 6 today, you are now OFFICIALLY a RUNNER, onwards and upwards to week 7 which are all 3/25 minute runs 🏃🏾 👍

Welcome to the forum and well done on your progress.

This guide to the plan is essential reading healthunlocked.com/couchto5...

and includes advice on minimising impact, stretching after every run, hydration and strengthening exercises, all of which will help.

Enjoy your journey.

Well done for ‘plogging’ all the way to week 6 👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻. The end is in sight now with distances just increasing slightly every week. I look forward to your graduation post 😊

Well done for "plogging along" that is a great description and one which I will use for myself in the future😁. Wow week 6 congrats not long to go now at all. Keep up the good work!

Well done, I am 59 also slightly overweight (lockdown not been kind and slimming world has been ignored a bit!) but am really proud of myself for starting C25K and getting myself to week 8! If I can do it anyone can, honestly, and I am actually starting to enjoy it!! Went out Wednesday for W8R1 but it was so humid I only managed 23 mins but not down hearted, I know I will get my W8 runs done as the weather has improved (for 'runners') at SW we say we are joggling (cross between jogging and toddling lol)
