Verdict on using Flipbelt?

After my last run, my phone arm band caused some nasty chaffing so I’m investigating alternatives. Anyone used a Flipbelt for their phone instead?

I haven't tried a flipbelt specifically, but I've heard some good reviews of it - apparently it's good for not riding up?

Personally I use a Nathan Swift Plus 10 hydration belt, which I really like because it's got a tiny water bottle attached to it as well as the pocket for my phone and keys - especially good in this hot weather. In the beginning I had some trouble finding where to position it so it wouldn't ride up and bounce around while I ran, but I found that putting it tightly around the smallest part of my waist worked well. I also found the weight of the bottle a bit annoying and distracting in the beginning, but after a few runs I barely notice it any more.

My cheapy dupe of flipbelt works well for me, doesn't ride up and holds phone and keys securely. Got it from Action - not sure whether they're in the UK, I'm a bit out of touch, sorry.

I confess I've not tried it but I find running leggings with a thigh pocket work very well, particularly for getting easy access to the phone during the run.

I've got a belt for phone and keys and it works fine. I forget I'm wearing it, doesn't ride up or bounce around 🌞

My husband and I have just bought the free train harness/belt and we love them.

I’ve got Bam leggings with a side pocket which keeps the phone accessible but secure while running.

I hate belts so buy leggings and shorts with big enough pockets. For long runs I prefer a hydration vest

I have a flip belt. I was moaning to a friend who runs and she recommended it. I carry my iPhone 11 and an asthma inhaler. I love it actually. The phone fits in well and literally doesn’t move. My inhaler isn’t the normal shape, it’s more of a tube, and I do have to adjust it to get a comfy location for it, but that’s not the belts fault. I put the inhaler in the non zip pocket the first time and lost it. I had to collect it on my way back 😆. Since then I put it in the zip part. My phone stays put in the non zip part. It literally doesn’t move once it’s in. Although it is tight getting it in there. I’d definitely recommend it. Make sure you measure yourself where you want to wear it. And I’d recommend the zip one personally. I love it. I even wear it walking the dog when I’ve got leggings on and no pockets. Poo bags fit nicely in one of the no zip pockets and don’t move. I can also see a use for it on holiday when you’re walking round cities with the zip pocket.

I have a flip belt and I can fit my iPhone in the zip pocket, tissues on the right pocket, key and inhaler in the left and back pockets. I also bought 2 small square flat water bottles for last summer when I was working up to HM.

I 3/4 filled them and froze them and then put the lids on when I took them out of the freezer. They were lovely and cool on my lower back and melted slowly enough for me to sip as I went through the second half of my runs.
