I can’t believe that I have now completed 4x25 minute runs - week 6 run 3 and week 7 all 3 runs!!! This programme really works - so do stick with it. My dodgy knees feel it today but I’ll use the foam roller soon - it really seems to help although it is torture.
Week 7 run 2 was special. My daughter (who’s an Ironman) ran with me. A historic moment and I loved it! I was amazed that I actually could talk to her during the run as I don’t try talking to myself as advised somewhere here 😂. Today I didn’t take Laura with me as all runs in week 7 are the same. I just timed it all on the watch, recorded it in Strava and clocked up a PR for 1 mile, 2 miles and 1km! (Slow but for me a great achievement -1km 7.48 ) Distance is only 3.63k not counting the recovery walk at the end.
So bring on week 8!
