Wk9 R1 complete!

I slowed right down today - as I found my last couple of runs quite gruelling. Also managed to coax the other half to accompany me... All in all a much better run! I even had enough in me to continue a little after the final bell and put in a sprint finish - I felt like I was going to take off! Happy days!

Just two runs left now. There is absolutely no way I will cover 5k in the 30 mins... but I'm absolutely fine with that. Being able to run for 30 mins in itself is such a big achievement. I have set myself the goal of 5k by my next birthday... it's not far away... but is a realistic goal.

I think having someone with me really helped today, it helps you stop focusing on your tiredness etc..... Hoping I can drag him along now and then.... maybe on my final run, to share the graduation moment with me 🙂
