It had completely taken the shine off things to be honest.
But at least now , even if i have discomfort, i won't have the same fear.
I have been very tence on my last few runs and that probably made the situation worse .
Oh, and by the way , the James dunne videos I suggested to you , well this guy is very familiar with him and said his rehab courses/videos are excellent
They definitely helped yesterday! It’s just a question of allowing a bit of extra time in the early morning! I didn’t do as many as he does, I reduced the number of repeats by about half. I’ll increase gradually.
Fantastic news ! ... as you say, your mind is put to rest and you seem to have a diagnosis and a potential way forward .... and you can now think forward to that mere 30 minutes you have to run to graduate !
That sounds like good news! So you can enjoy whatever exercises he gives you, knowing they will make you a stronger runner! At least you can trust your body a bit more now and as you say,relax into the run.
I find myself making little adjustments to my posture a lot more after my injury, but it keeps me alert to what's going on so I feel in control. That makes the whole thing more positive.
Good luck next week, but in the meantime, maybe you're going to do that final run?
