Week 5 Run 1 πŸ’ͺ

A little worried about starting this week, I had spent the weekend reading through various posts on here to keep me motivated and give me inspiration.

I went out at my usual time, just after 8am, the field I run on, opposite my house, was cool and just the usual dog walkers around. I love it at this time of the morning

Well despite my head having a fight with positive and negative thoughts I did the first 5 min run comfortably. 2nd 5 min run equally as comfortable. Enjoying the 3 min walks in between, enjoying the cool breeze and the early sun, 3rd run a little harder, mainly my knees hurting at that stage.

I did it, slow but I did it πŸ’ͺ😊

This is great !

So good to see you feeling positive now and getting through those runs πŸ˜¬πŸƒ

And as you now know, slow is good !

Remember, strength not speed πŸ‘

You are writing your own amazing success story πŸ˜¬πŸ‘

It is, but it's OK. I found the final 20 minute run no tougher than either of the others, and it felt so good to have done it!

Not sure how I'll cope without the walking breaks, everyone says trust the program, so I will 😊

It's just a different mindset. You get used to it and start to see the walks as a nuisance. Promise...
