We ran Tuesday and i gathered a tiny bit of loose skin on the top of my big toe, nothing much but oh it hurt, hobbled home from work Thursday and found Willow limping as left knee painful, roll forward to Sunday, blister is really horribly huge and sore it’s been a trying week, padded it with a fresh dressing anti blister socks and a knee support for Willow and off we went...
We had said if we do the warm up walk and come home at least we’d be out so we did the warm up and jogged slowly for 10 minutes then walked a minute then another 10 slow jog then cool down and home so just under 3k and looking back although it felt slower than a slug our pace has slightly increased
Park runners solo runners and race runners keep at it running is wonderful to do

the knee worries me although he said was less painful by the end. blisters happen to me as very thin skin on feet and psoriasis but i’m learning how to minimise them, I want to run further and faster but we are no spring chickens so happy with what we can do
Willows asleep lol and i’m wondering if i can get my book from the other room without waking him, and thanks, i’ve been wearing shoes to work in my effort to look more professional and the consultant told me to go back to trainers as feet sweat in shoes
Good post from you, just be careful regarding your big toe, apart from that you had a nice run, not sure if you have ran a parkrun yet, I am glad that you are enjoying your runs, 🏃🏾
Thanks, oh blisters heal and at least it’s not like the last ones which were underneath my foot and hurt really badly, we haven’t tried a park run yet we’ve only managed one 5k so far and i don’t want him pushing his knee too hard, but we have worked out a well lit route for the darker evenings so are going to try it out tuesday
