First 20 minute run

I did w5r3 today. It was harder than I thought it would be. I honestly thought I’d done about 10 minutes when he announced the 5 minute point.

But I kept going, I was jogging fairly slowly for most of it so I feel kinda like I’m cheating but there is absolutely no way I could’ve ran for that long. I struggled but I kept going. My breathing was fine though, that’s the best thing about the app. I’m not struggling to breath, it was more my legs that were hard to move.

When I started this I was out of breath after 60 seconds, I have slowed my pace since then however.

I think I’m proof that anyone who follows this programme can do it. Don’t expect it to be easy but know that you CAN do it. If I can, anyone can. Xx

Ditto! If all goes well, I should be doing this run (W5R3) on Sunday.

Congratulations on completing run 3 of week 5, that is a milestone run with C25K, onwards and upwards to week 6 run 1 but be careful about that run as it catches out some people with the interval walks and runs after the non stop 20 minutes of W5R3 which you have just ran 🏃🏾 😊
