Well I thought I’d said goodbye to Laura ... got up this morning and decided I’d take her along with me (my comfort blanket)! We got to the end of the 30 minutes running and she mentioned building on the good work so far. That was enough to spur me on. I continued running for the warm down 5 minutes... it was uphill at this point but I did it... More time running and a small distance added. That 5k target is still some way off but the fact I increased my running time feels so good.

Hi there, it is my aim to very slowly extend running time by small increments and hopefully this will impact on the distance I can manage. I need to do some strengthening exercises on my days off so this is another target for me. How do you plan to build on your success to date?
