Wow that was challenging! I don't know about you guys but I'm not a very active person, especially since lockdown but I did it! My first run is over π

First run complete!
Welcome to the forum and well done getting started.
This guide to the plan is essential reading healthunlocked.com/couchto5...
and includes advice on minimising impact, stretching after every run, hydration and strengthening exercises, all of which will help.
Enjoy your journey.
It gets easier believe me. I've not run since school and am now 60. But I graduated last week and now run 30mins non stop 3 times a week. Best advise I can give you is slow down and slow down some more. Pace is irrelevant at this early stage. But completing the runs is. Try to run in the cooler part of the day too. Good luck in your journey ππββοΈπ
Excellent!
A lot of people find that first run the hardest (I know I did )
Keep it slow, keep hydrated and do the warm up and after run stretches advised in the guide to the plan .
Most of all enjoy the program ππ¬
Well done you for getting started. Honestly the first one is really hard. Enjoy the journey.
Well done π
I'm only 5 runs in but a really good tip I got from here is run slow - slower than you think! Made a big difference today.
Keep it up π
Yay, you did it, well done!
