First park run complete

Just went to my first run in Gorleston, Norfolk. I actually enjoyed it. I didn't take my phone as wanted to assess the situation and must admit I didn't miss it really as I was taking in what was going on around me.

Once you know you can go 5k or there abouts you should go, there were quite a few that walked at times so you are under no pressure.

I wanted to finish under 30 mins and managed 29.20 so am really pleased. Need to beat that next week now .

Yeah, good time. I did my first today too at Preston, Lancs. Came 70th out of 77. My time was over 36mins which is good enough for me at the moment. Will try to improve and get up to your level.
