Getting a bit nervous now, as because I have suffered so many aches and pains in the past, with each run I think can I do it?

Again early night, ok sleep, woke on time and 3 2 1 Go!

Again slow to get any rhythm, just telling myself I will do this, whilst a little voice is saying you can’t!!

But I did!

Home for a cuppa 😊or 2 !

Well done.

Stretching immediately after every run, nhs.uk/live-well/exercise/h... while muscles are still warm and supple, pulls out contractions, avoiding carrying tensions into the next run and also improves recovery by improving blood flow, as recommended in the guide to the plan.

Many people do not hold their stretches for long enough or put enough effort in. Hold post run stretches for 30 seconds and make sure the pull is strong enough to be on the verge of discomfort.

It was week 7 when I actually started to realise I could do it , then I enjoyed it more , enjoying the run and the music (some of the time anyway ! 😂)

Week 7 is a great stamina builder 👍
