Big bucket full of hello’s to everyone ! I’m struggling a bit with week 4 , found the 3 min / 5 mins runs a lot harder , heavy legs and breathing heavy , but I did it and my 2nd run is 6am tomorrow morning. Will eating breakfast and having a glass of water help before I run ? Thanks for any help ,

Week 4 is quite a big jump I found. Have faith though. I dreaded it but now on week 8. I eat a small amount about an hour before I run, usually a bagel with peanut butter and that seems fine

If the breakfast is light you should be fine. I wouldn't suggest having a fry-up before one though. When you're exercising your digestive processes slow down.

Definitely have the glass of water. Drink one tonight too.

and includes advice on minimising impact, stretching after every run, hydration and strengthening exercises, all of which will help.

I may about to start week 4 tonight too and saw how big a jump it is from 3 minutes to 5 minutes. Dreading it tbh! I don’t eat before I run as I don’t want a stitch ...I do drink some water though. Good luck 😉

It's definitely doable. I've just completed week 4. It is a stretch to extend from 3 to 5 minutes but you will be pleasantly surprised that you can now do it.
