Finally run W9R3. It has taken months. I started in January, paused in February with illness then re-started in March. I’ve been out three times a week in wind, rain, frost, snow and even some sun. I’ve done some runs once and repeated others but now I can run for 30 minutes. If I include the walking, I cover at least 5k. Not sure I call myself a runner in my head but I’ve got running shoes and running clothes. I’m amassing the courage for the local park run now. It takes me about 45 minutes to complete 5k and I don’t want to come last. Where do I get the podcasts for the next bit? Do I download them? I’ve used the app to get so far. Also, I would like some better running shoes. Where can I go for advice? I live in the East Midlands. Celebrating now before planning my next run.
Finished! So proud of myself!!: Finally run W9R... - Couch to 5K

Congratulations and well done! You are indeed a runner and the best way to feel like a runner is to buy lots of running gear. 😃👍 Once you’ve done a Parkrun you might be surprised at how welcoming and fun it was. I’d say just do it. You won’t come last and so what if you do; this is your journey. They have tail walkers anyway so you officially can’t come last. Good luck!
Massive congratulations ! 🥇⭐️⭐️⭐️ You can’t be last - there will always be loads of people behind you who didn’t make it as far as the starting line 😄
