Didn’t enjoy runs 1 or 2 so when I heard the rain this morning, I thought ‘I’m not going out in that’. After 5/10 mins discussion with myself along the lines of ‘everyone says running in the rain is refreshing’ and ‘the dog wouldn’t go out in this’, ‘but you didn’t go yesterday’ I found myself outside, it was pouring down, I laughed all the way round at the ridiculousness and absolutely loved it!
Glad week 8 is out of the way - can’t believe I’m now really looking forward to week 9🏃♀️
Thanks all for getting me up and out 👍

Well done you. I love running in the rain it’s so invigorating. And it’s nearly always really quiet. Only saw one other person and one car this morning. 👍👍👍🏃♀️🏃♀️🏃♀️
It was pouring down here and I thought exactly the same! ‘Not going out in that!’
But I have tried to do the runs as suggested every other day - so I didn’t want to change that!
So I got ready, grumbled to myself and set off. Glad I did as it stopped raining and I ran my first week9 run 1 30 minutes no rain! So chuffed, got home, stretching by the back door and the heavens opened again ☔️🏃🏽♀️
Well done! Running in the rain is great! Arriving back home soaked and peeling off your wet things isn’t so great. Good luck with Week 9, you’ll smash it! 🏃♀️🏃♀️🏃♀️👏👏👏
