I was soooo keen and revved up to do this run i did it early and i bashed it! I normally run on a Monday Thurs Saturday morning to get my 3 in a week but tomorrow morning will be a hectic one so decided to do it tonight. My hubby was there as well as i do it on a treadmill in his garden shed/workshop and i think he was shocked that i was actually doing it. What on earth he thought I was doing down there instead of what i'd said is beyond me, but the proof was in the sweaty head and red cheeks today! And Laura's just told me I can offically call myself a runner now, me a runner! Who'd of ever thought it cause I didn't!!!
Think thats all my excitement spewed out into here, i'm off for a shower! Happy running everyone!!! xxx

The thought of going out and doing it scares the c**p out of me. I'm dieting at the same time with Slimming World and have big body confidence issues... I'll stick where i am for now and will venture out eventually, it will all come together x
Well done, you're right to feel so pleased. And what a moment that is when Laura tells you that you are a runner - you must believe her cos you are indeed a runner!
That's excellent well done you. must be fabulous to hear those words! Just keep doing what you're doing. As long as you are happy and enjoying it, no need to change it.
You'll love being out running in the open air soon. The time flies when you're outside and the scenery changes constantly, making the runs just fly by
Well done you runner! I really liked hearing that too! Try and get outside soon, it really is so nice! Most of us have felt a little trepidation at running in public and choose our moments, like first thing in the morning! I felt a bit silly running for 60 seconds on the first week, and now I feel really slow and look it if I catch sight of myself in a window, but we're RUNNING! Most people can't do what we do, so sod 'em! Also, if you'd asked me when I started the programme if people jogged in my village I'd have said no, but I see someone jogging most days now. I think most people including me before just don't even notice runners.
