Thank you to all those who have posted on the site. Those of us who rarely post often lurk and draw inspiration from your experiences. The support from this site is fab and today I finished the programme. But its not over cos the real change in me is that I can't wait to get out there again. My 30 min run was only 4.2km so my next aim is to get to the 5k and then to do it within the 30mins.
I did it - week 9 run 3!: Thank you to all those... - Couch to 5K
I did it - week 9 run 3!
Well done Nell! Great achievement.
congrats nellmc. I do my last run this weekend.
Well done and its great to know you're looking forward to you're next run.Enjoy it now
My 9.3 was on Monday, and I have run twice since (just back and bathed). Probably, like you, it was rather short of 5k, but the goal is a regular 30 minutes running three times a week. I also read more than I write in these pages, but still feel a sense of community.
Massive Congratulations
Congratulations
Congratulations! The world is your oyster now I managed 5k yesterday, but it's still in well over 30 mins. 40 mins to be precise. However i take comfort from the fact that's still 39 minutes more than i was running at the beginning of the programme, only 3 months ago! And that I can manage almost an hours' run now, if I put my mind to it. Am constantly amazed at what this plan offers when you just stick with it.
Well done, I have run 9 3 tonight, looking forward to it, I have found myself a couple of hundred metres short of the 5k after 30 minutes.
Tonight I think I will just try to enjoy my 30 minute trot and worry about distance/speed in the future.
Again congratulations and all the best with following on from all your hard work so far.
well done. remember to ask for your graduate badge. feels great having the silver logo by your name!
CONGRATULATIONS! Well done you!
Fantastic and well done
