Haven't been on here since finishing Week 1. Week 2 completed and Week 3 started today, felt weirdly emotional as I was running 3 minutes today, I wonder if I'm going to be crying like a baby as the weeks go on! haha!
Have got into my stride getting my run done early morning when I get up. Actually felt gutted I couldn't run on Friday due to childcare, so I think that's a good sign.
Also have new trainers that are more roomy and have lessened knee/calf pain.
Have a great week everyone.

hi starfish.... i'm really encouraged that i'm not the only crying runner lol . I lost my dad on my birthday 2018 . and I feel his love and encouragement with me when I run . I've been in some right states during that final push . Ah sod it .... the general public can think what they like
Ahh glad to hear I'm not the only one!!! I've got some health problems going on and I think I feel the emotional release when I run. I think that's a good thing. I'm sure that's the case if you're thinking about your dad too x
If you go gently . And follow the stretching and aftercare guide on this site . I also found baths with Dead Sea salts helped . And if pain worsens or if in doubt have a chat with your gp of course
