So, 4 weeks ago today I did W5R3 but due to severe pain in my ankle had to rest up on the IC for 3+ weeks. ☹️ Was eager to get back into it so on Tuesday (first time out in just over 3 weeks) did W4R1, Thursday I did W5R2 and tonight 4 weeks after the first time I repeated W5R3 and I feel great! 😀🏃Not sure I'm going to get to 5K (run 2.24kmin the 20 mins) but I don't care, I just can't wait to move on to week 6.
So to anyone on the IC, you WILL be back and we've got this! 🏃🙋🏻

Welcome back and pleased you’ve healed, take it steady, 5k can wait we got our first 5k about a month after graduating and it took 52 minutes which is snail 🐌 pace but meant we could keep going, been chipping a minute off here and there and down to 40 minutes, doubt we’ll ever get to 30 but we can dream
Thank you so much for your reply, yes I think I need to appreciate how long I'm running for and not worry about distance. As you say this will come with time x
By the end of the programme you will probably find you are faster than the beginning but the amazing thing is that whatever speed you can run and run and run 😀and are stronger and happier than before
Absolutely! I thought the 1minute runs were hard in the first week and every time I would look at the next run and think I'm not going to be able to do that but here I am and loving it 😊
