So today was the day, my final run of the C25k programme. I felt really good today, and maybe it was the excitement of graduating, but when the final bell rung at 30 minutes I decided to keep plodding a little longer to reach the 5k.
I managed it in just under 36 minutes - honestly feel so proud of how far Iβve come, I never thought in a million years Iβd be able to reach this goal.
Thank you to all those on this forum who have inspired me to keep going and shared their invaluable advice. Youβve managed to convince me that running actually is enjoyable; itβs definitely something Iβll be keeping up!
For anyone whoβs just starting out, or mid-programme and finding it tough, keep at it! The feeling of accomplishment once you reach your goal is second to none.
Thanks all and keep running!

Brilliant! Well done ππ»ππ». I graduated too this morning but couldnβt go the extra. After a stressful and busy week I was really tired so just did what I needed to do to get it done. Well done on the 5K. What a finish! π₯³ππ
Massive congratulations on your graduation!! Itβs a great feeling isnβt it? You have the stamina to run 30 minutes now, the 5k is just a matter of time!
