Just Graduated!!

Oh my goodness meeeeee!!! 10 weeks ago I honestly thought I wouldn’t be here... it’s had its big ups and big downs, but I got there!! I’m a chunky 35 year old who loves chocolate too much (!), and never saw the appeal of running. Something grabbed my curiosity though and off I went... I ran on Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays then had the weekends off - my Wednesday runs were the WORST!! No idea why. I was pretty nervous this week as I had to walk for decent chunks during my 30 mins, just to get some energy back into my legs and get some breath back! But it was just my midweek curse, and today I ran the full 30 mins 😁 I’m not at 5K yet (today’s run was 3.5) but apparently that’s ok?! Either way, I’m chuffed to bits! Really looking forward to my first ‘solo’ (without Jo Wiley in my ears!) run next week...! Wooooo!!

It's great isn't it, how it takes you from inactivity to running for that distance and time! Wonder if Ms Whiley is aware of all the people who are ditching her? 🤣
