I'm beat. Dead. Completely done. Game over. Finito. Got no'tin left. But I did it. I did it. Lol.
This was hard. I don't know why but just couldnt catch my breath and i dont think it was possible to go any slower. I forgot to put both my Nike run and Runkeeper app on until I was walking the 3min interval so cant really track how fast I was going the first half but I was definitely barely plodding along for the second.
How on earth am I going to survive 25min day after tomorrow??

Good advice, Thatwasunexpected! Hi SamiaT, if you haven't yet watched the video m.youtube.com/watch?v=9L2b2... about Japanese Slow Running, do take a look. It revolutionised my running life!
Do you know, I was imagining this gentleman throughout todays run and kept trying to slow down further to the point I didnt think I could slow much further. I googled all the slow jog vids out there after Week 1. I don't know, maybe my perception of slow needs to change.
trust me when I say you’ve got thru the hardest bit!!!
You’ve shaken off those walk intervals! They were my friends but on week 6 I struggled with them... I was so glad to see the back of them... and so will you!
Well done! Really! W6 is challenging as it brings back the walk intervals but they are gone forever now!! Thank goodness!
You will love that!
YOU got this.. I promise!
If you need a giggle about week 6 read my posts - I called week 6 a little biatch
I know you will do run 3 ... remember slow!! If you can’t sing along with ease to your playlist then you are going too fast!
It's funny I didn't think I could possibly run any slower. My average pace for the second leg of the run was 9.12 and I know that was slower than the first 10mins. I think I'm going to focus on tiny tiptoes step forward for the 25min slog. I just wish it was getting easier after a solid 6 weeks of running every other day with a protein shake afterwards. Not overweight or any health issues. Guess just unfit. I want to hang on though. Need to prove to myself I can finish this.
Thanks for this. To me, it seems as if I'm barely moving forward but I think I need to focus on shortening my stride further to tiny steps like you said.
