Absolutely perfect out there this morning and no wind at all. Which of course makes it quite warm too but I was early enough for this not to be an issue. With no wind there’s only one place to be, but I wussed out of the pebbles and stuck to the cycle track and prom.
Sea was calm with a yacht⛵️sailing by and I would have taken a pic so show you how beautiful it was but I didn’t want to stop,so you’ll have to make do with an emoji!
I was listening to a podcast and they were talking about the triangulation between sleep, exercise and emotional well being. Yep 👍🏼 I thought, as I bimbled on, if that poor lady took time to do what I am now doing she would feel better in so many ways. I feel quite blessed to live where I do, and calm like the sea after my run. No doubt there’ll be some dramas to come this week, between work and family there always is, but my morning shuffles help me to say bring it on! Another 5K in the bag.
Have a good week everyone 😜

Thank you, the podcast is called How Did We Get Here and it’s with Claudia Winkleman and Prof Tanya Byron. There’s lots of episodes, they’re really interesting and definitely distracting from thinking about time and distance!
Exactly why I switched too Birdlady! Never thought I could do it without my accompanying bangers as I loved my playlist, but I got a bit bored and after reading that lots of others did podcasts instead, I thought I’d give it a go. Glad I did.
Two truths I have discovered post graduation- there is life without Michael Johnson and a playlist!😊 who knew? 🤷🏼♀️
Yes, when you live on the coast there’s rarely a still day is there? Make the most of them when they happen!
I just seem to have found my groove with the 5 Ks now - I’m going to enjoy it for a bit and then maybe think about increasing my time and distance done more - although I have to say I’m not overly bothered about going further just yet! 😜
Hope you like the podcasts - if you like a bit of human stories and armchair analysis like me it will be right up your street. I love Claudia too- she’s a very smart lady who does a fine job at appearing ditsy.
