It’s hot out there

Good morning fellow runners we went out this morning and decided that dull day running is easier, today it didn’t feel hot to start with but with the sun beating down we soon were

We had a lovely slow run and at 3k Willow got in the car and came home to make tea, which meant I ran gently home, dodging people on the path is fun, I crossed the road 3 times and that was just going over the railway bridge but it was a satisfying 5k and with the half k walk either end covered enough ground to feel very happy

What a lovely start to the day. A gentle run home sounds just what the doctor ordered. I'm going to try a long run in the morning but feel the need for a more scenic route. 🤞my dodgy knee holds up. Have a lovely weekend 🌞

Sounds like my kind of day. I'm not running today but am just back from a 5k walk with the dog, although she will have covered a lot more ground than me! Enjoy the sunshine 😊

As I told you on another post today is my first parkruniversary and I celebrated that run of a year ago on running my 17th 5K virtual parkrun and 4th (not) parkrun this morning
