Sounds boring, but that run went well. No dramas, no low points, no high points ... just steady and well.

I was wearing a new top though !!! There you go ... that point of differentiation... long sleeve too as was a bit chilly.

It must've been the new top - it's definitely a good run charm haha!

It has to be the top ... you’re right 😂

Doesn't sound boring at all, it's really food that you had a nice steady run - I think once you get to the point you are there's not a lot to talk about the runs because they just end up either being steady, or you push yourself for negative splits etc. I was wearing long sleeve too as I got out of the house and realised that the first shirt I picked out I was going to freeze in, so changed it to my long sleeved one last minute! 😂

See great minds think a like !! This forum ... from running to fashion it covers the lot ! Glad I invested in a long top as the weather has cooled a bit ... but nicer temperature I feel ... long mat steady continue

It really does haha! It’s brilliant, the amount of advice I’ve had on here from running to clothes, to headphones it’s crazy haha! Yeah definitely, it’s always worth having all different types of clothes. I do want to invest in a good waterproof running jacket or something though, but my running shop only do it in highlighter yellow which although my FlipBelt is that colour, not sure how I feel about a jacket being that colour 😂😂

Oh I have an illuminous yellow one for light rain and a very very light weight waterproof for heavy downpours(folds into its own packet) .. the yellow one, well, I go out very early so no one sees me .... but in that one ... I think I can be seen from space ! ... so know what you mean ... but I got that colour as a motivator to keep going when autumn and winter come and days darker ... ie you’ve got it so you better get your monies worth 😂😂😂

Hmmm... that is true in regards to winter! Might have to go back and have a look then, forgot that it will be darker at the times I run so would be logical to have a bright coloured jacket! The one that folds into its own packet sound really convenient too! My running wardrobe is definitely only summer based so do need to think about the later months 😂

I have been noticing that there have been fewer dramas lately the further we get into the program; it obviously shows that it’s working! Well done. Only one run to go before your final week! Your hard work is paying off! 👏👏👏

I agree Jools it does seem well planned ... my dramas tend to be outside the run ... tech, getting up on time, correct clothing ... but not the runs ... you back out yet ?

I did W7 R2 on Wednesday. Hip still niggling so having an extra rest day today, R3 tomorrow, all going well!

I missed that post ... sorry ... how did it go ?? The elongated and necessary break impact you too much ?

I took 4 rest days, then ran my fastest time! Still slow of course 😀. So I’ll take an extra rest day then take it steady tomorrow and do an easy slow run. I’ve done 25 minutes 3 times now, so fairly confident.

Excellent! Isn’t it great when everything falls into place. I’m sure the new gear helped as well! 😜

Feels surreal that it was drama free ... from W1 and the few following weeks to today

It is quite amazing, last year week one we laughed at ourselves between gasping and coughing and the next day ooo our legs barely worked and now we can comfortably run for ages, sometimes more comfortable but even a tough run is way better than when we started

Enjoy the rest of your day
