So chuffed, not gonna lie it was hard. But for the first time I tracked my route and I did 1.7 miles.
I know I was obviously very very slow but least it gives me something to work from, Iβm not going to track every run as Iβm sure thatβs counterproductive but hopefully if I do it at the end of week 7 or beginning of wk8 I might see a difference.
Well done! I usually start off every run with a bit of a wobble, because the first 5 minutes are the hardest for me. I do track every run, because I like pressing the buttons on my new watch! If anyone sees me, they must think Iβm a pro and running slowly to train for a marathon π.
Eek! I just converted your 1.7 miles to Km and you are wayyy faster than me. Maybe Iβll get a prize for being the slowest runner in Couch to 5k!
Week 7 now for you, more of the same. I did R1 yesterday and found it a tad easier. Even increased pace for the last 60 seconds!
Excellent! Got to love shiny new toys. Mineβs a Garmin and I linked the app to Strava. Took me ages. Then I realised I only knew 1 person on Strava so I deleted the app π
Congratulations! Iβve just got back from doing the same run.... When I started, I had to stop myself looking at my watch until at least 30 seconds had gone past!
Hi 5 from me! Keep at it... fingers crossed we will both be celebrating same time in 3 weeks!! ππ
Never mind the time, you ran for 25 minutes, congratulations on completing run 3 of week 6, you are now OFFICIALLY a RUNNER, onwards and upwards to week 7 which are all 3/25 minute runs ππΎ π.
