Well for anyone who's the least bit interested after my last post.... I did it! Must admit was NOT feeling it again this morning - lots of late nights working and not enough sleep does not a good runner make. But no excuses, I did it, the whole bloody 20 minutes! πŸ™ŒπŸΌ

When I heard Jo say "well done you've done 5 minutes" I thought "oh my god, I'm half way already!!" for the smallest second before my maths caught up with me πŸ˜‚πŸ™„πŸ˜£

I find certain music helps me massively get into a rhythm, any tips? I started on the Prodigy run with the wolves and ended on Taylor Swift shake it off so not judgement on genre from me!

Now I'm just debating whether to give this run another go on Friday for good measure (because it was still a struggle) or move on to W6...

Massive well done to you! You had a run you weren’t happy with - moved on and successfully completed the same run. You did it! If I have completed runs, even if they were a struggle, I move on to the next one. Only you can decide what’s best for you - but you did complete this run! The next run, W6 R1 has proved challenging for some, because it’s back to intervals with walking breaks. Think of it like it’s back to training, this time for the 25 minute run, and you shouldn’t have any problem with it. Then it’s a fairly straightforward run and I’d be inclined to move on rather than repeat.

The thought of intervals sounds like bliss to me right now! πŸ˜‚ thanks for your encouragement this week, it's been a big help!

Great post!

You did it ... on late nights and not enough sleep! (I’m the same) .. so even tho not perfectly set up you still did it! πŸ‘πŸ‘

Only you know what your comfortable with but my advice is to move to week 6! Have faith in the programme preparing you... you did it!

Week 5 run 3 is a milestone that’s for sure

Chuffed for you!

Watch week 6... the interval’s are back and I believe once we’ve done the W5R3 it caught me by surprise.... it’s do-able but the walk breaks weren’t as kind to me as they were in earlier weeks πŸ™ˆ

You did it!.... Well done πŸ‘

On you go with your fantastic achievement

Definitely sleep! Well rested and well hydrated and you will be fab!

If you need to repeat - don’t beat yourself up!... it’s no biggie and definitely don’t use the F word (fa**) ... no such word on here! You’re doing amazing!

we are running for a chunky amount of time now but this programme is fab!.. it will get you there!

Good luck

πŸ‘πŸΌπŸ‘πŸΌπŸ‘πŸΌyou did it - fantastic! Considering all the things against you, you dug deep and did it-so this sets you up perfectly for W6. Just watch out for the pesky intervals at the beginning of the week😜

Go you πŸ’ͺ🏻

Yep, getting through a run when you’re not feeling it is massive for building you mental strength, which is just as important as you physical with running well done 😊

Congratulations on completing run 3 of week 5, that is a milestone run with C25K, if you wish to repeat it do so but you don't need to, anyone can repeat any runs or week's if they wish, otherwise onwards and upwards to week 6 run 1, but be careful about that run as it catches out some people with the interval walks and runs after the non stop 20 minutes of W5R3 which you have just ran πŸƒπŸΎ 😊.

No need to repeat it yet, wait until you've graduated and want to do a shorter faster run, week 5 run 3is great for that.

Well done again, the end is in sight now, you got this.
