I can't believe I actually managed to complete Couch to 5k this morning!! π It's taken me more like 14 weeks due to various injury, marriage breakdown and moving house.. But persistence paid off and I actually finished it! Still only managed 4.51k in the 30 minutes but that did include a long hill.
Couldn't have done it without Jo Whiley in my ear all the way through.
Thanks guys for all the support, advice and information on this forum.
Now I need a plan to keep going. Xxx β€οΈ

4.51k is awesome for 30 minutes (he said, having done exactly that distance on W9R1 this morning, but almost entirely on the flat π€£). Sounds like you've been through the mill a bit, amazing though how running keeps you going and helps you forget all the **** life throws at you, even if only for half an hour. My plan for post W9R3 is to find a route round my local country park (or maybe a couple just for variety) of 5k in length, and do that a few times a week. It has given me something to aim at if nothing else.
Brilliant! And that half hour can help your mind- clears it as you focus on your run, but lets thoughts rumble around and fall into.place with sometimes an answer or idea that was eluding you. Sounds like a tough few months for you. Well done for keeping going.
Congratulations on completing run 3 of week 9 and graduating from C25K π ππΎ π
