Can anyone help please! I keep getting headaches when Iv been out jogging, I suffer with migraines anyway but just seems I get eyeball headaches after Iv been jogging. Is there anything I can do to prevent it? I drink water before, during and after a jog. I have my breakfast after my jog too!

I was thinking of googling it but that could tell me anything!

I would think dehydration, can you get some electrolyte water? I use science in sport electrolytes as I have an ileostomy and am always at risk of dehydration, wonder if your body needs the extra boost electrolytes will give?

Hope your aches and pains have recovered?

This might be a dumb question! But the electrolyte and magnesium tablets that you add to water, how many glasses can you have in a day? Iv read the tube but don’t say about the dosage, or can you drink it all day and as many times?

I only use the SIS drink when I am actually on the run. I drink lots of vimto(sugar free) throughout the day anyway, so I’m literally just using the extra electrolytes when I sweat. I imagine you could have as many as you like of them but if you’re not working out I suppose they would just put more sugar etc into you than you need? Do you get headaches at any other time? Just use one bottle made up with them on the run and see how you go? X p.s aches and pains are in their way out again, rest day tomo and back at it fri x

Oh glad your on the mend, not nice when you get aching muscles!

I often suffer with migraines (runs in family unfortunately) but when I run it’s a thumping headache that lasts all day!

in reply toChewy73

Oh that sounds nasty! Well try to drink more normally and then the electrolyte drink when you’re running and see how you go?
