Well! 2nd run after graduating and the training wheels are only half off! I played both Runkeeper 30min work out AND Jo Whiley on C25k because I couldnโt imagine running without that support.๐คฃ๐
Of course my other safety blanket was the music I know. I used my go-to music playlist, but MOST DARING OF ALL I chose a completely new route, and how lovely was that!
Itโs a double-back route which should allow me to incrementally add distance bit by bit by running 500m further each week.
So all good! This run is also part of my amended NHS 12 week fitness plan and I am on my W1 D6 of it. And today, I ended up running 35 min.
Upwards and onwards! Big good energy wishes to all you runners out there! May your run be as nice as mine was today! ๐๐ฟโโ๏ธ๐๐พ๐ฆต๐ฒ๐ถ๐ฆถ๐ณ๐พ

Sounds like a brilliant run and a great plan! ๐ I also use runkeeper but only the basic, free version. Are you on the premium? I'm undecided whether to upgrade or not
No, also free version and that probably will be enough for me. I will try to resist the temptation of subscribing. (But how did runners keep going without the C25k app, without runkeeper or NikeRunner? Without Spotify or a smartphone?! ๐ณ ๐ฑ ๐๐พ๐ถ๐๐ฟโโ๏ธ
Well thatโs a lovely route mine is very similar and like you I double back after the 15mind dining to get further each time. Sadly I didnโt return to the start yesterday. ๐ข I am about to start the same programme as you I think that would be good. Is runkeeper an app?
Good luck. ๐โโ๏ธ๐โโ๏ธ๐๐ป๐๐ป
That's a great photo of the path you took of the path along the side of the hedge. I agree it could be dangerous after a few good downpours. Your new plan appears to be working, achieving 35 minutes on R 2 - way to go. Did you notice your distance?
I went out today in the cool rain this morning as the weather was very favorable for me.
