Just completed the 3 5 minute runs and am proud of myself 🀣 struggled a bit with week 4 and repeated a couple of the runs because I slowed to a walk during the last 5 minutes, so delighted I managed the 3 5s, one after another.

However, will I manage the 8 minute ones on Wednesday?! πŸ™ˆπŸ˜‚ we shall see!!!

Yayyyy! Well done!.... Week 5 got in my head ... but it was madness .. and there really is no need. The plan prepares you for it and you will do it!

Thanks! I think it’s looking ahead to that one yellow block of running that instils the fear 🀣 kind of looking forward to it... Who knew running could be so enjoyable πŸ€·πŸ»β€β™€οΈ

I know!.... and I felt like week 5 is a bit of a milestone but i know you will do it!... slow and then slower!.. gets you through!....

It's such a personal achievement isn't it - you feel 10 ft tall once you have achieved!...

Keep going - you are doing brill and i look forward to your posts on the remainder of the week :-)

Honestly I found week 4 so difficult! I probably did the week 4 runs about 6 timesπŸ™ˆ

I’m not sure why but I found week 5 a lot more comfortable than week 4! The 8 minute runs are more than doable and you get your 5 minute walk in between, which eases you nicely into the 2nd run😊
