Evening all. I have just done week 5, Run 1 and it went ok. I did week 4 slowly but without stopping and was pleased as before I had got to a similar stage and had given up so I began week 5 in a similar way. In fact, as I was on the first of the 5-minute runs a couple of those slug-things who have their houses on their backs - snails, I think they are called - came alongside. But as theirs was the pace I was aiming for, taking Michael Johnson's advice on board to take it steady, that was fine and I duly avoided treading on them.
I see a fellow poster did this run and like them, I am amazed I am doing 5 minutes non-stop and am aware this is the first of the weeks where the three runs differ so I have put my reminder (which now is working ok on the App after not working) for Sunday morning before it gets too hot.
I did not post last week (4) for various reasons but still read the posts on the forum and have to echo fellow runners' comments that the encouragement we get on here is fantastic. Onward and upward (hills notwithstanding)
