I've finished C25K! I would not have believed this eleven weeks ago when I started, my aim being just to keep myself fit during lockdown. However at week 5 something changed, I realised that I enjoy this, and I became determined to finish.
Lost my mojo a bit after week 8, but once I made the leap of faith, Week 9 has been great. At the end of both run 1 and run 2 my legs turned to jelly when I stopped running and just walking felt like a struggle. Today's forecast was rain all day but I was determined to get out. I woke very early and it wasn't raining so I had some water, did my stretches and was out of the door by 7.10 am (pretty much unheard of). I just took the run very slowly and managed an extra minute or so at the end. I didn't see anyone on my walk home but if I had I think I would have been bursting to tell them I had just finished C25K (probably just as well I didn't). I strutted home with my head held high.
Roll on the consolidation walks when I can play my rock music playlist. I have got to like a few of the podcast tunes but some I never want to hear again.
For anyone following on, don't doubt yourself, believe what they tell you in this forum, you can do it!
