Out at 7.00 for a cheeky 3km which was great in the fresher air. 5km yesterday was really hard but I certainly had a sense of achievement at the end! Trying to run everyday this week just to see if I can, albeit at no great speed. 5 days down...

I see you've done your 7 days of running, congratulations. Do take care though. It is usually advised against unless you've been running for a year or more. If you don't give muscles time to repair and become stronger you may well end up with an injury that stops you in your tracks. Exercise caution and listen very carefully to your body. Happy running.
Thanks for your reply and helpful advice. This was a one off! I know as someone who came late to running I need to be sensible. Having got this far, I don’t want an injury to stop me. Very inspired by your story!
