Just completed W5R1. Was feeling nervous and unmotivated after last week as my knees has started to hurt, but the advice on the forum is AMAZING. Took an extra rest day (usually have first run on a Monday) and ran ever slower (didn't think that was possible) after watching the Japanese slow running link. I may not be smiling by the end of the week, but I did a few times today, especially as my knees didn't hurt at all. Going slow is the way to go.

Well done! It doesn’t matter how slowly you run, you are still building up stamina because you are making the movements of running. I read somewhere about both feet being off the ground, but I don’t think that my feet are ever both off the ground at the same time, it certainly doesn’t seem like it! 😂
