Went out bright and breezy this morning. It’s definitely better to run before it gets hot hot hot. Why is it, on rest days you can’t wait to get out for the run but then when run day arrives, you’re like oh no do I have to 😂 Anyway, I had a few of those thoughts this morning but ignored them, got my running gear on and off I went. 30 minutes in the bag. Focusing on my breathing, in through the nose, out through the mouth is starting to help my breathing on these longer runs. Crazy to think that 9 weeks ago I found it tough running for 60 seconds. Two runs left 💪🏻🏃‍♀️🌈

Congratulations! The finish line is in sight! Yes, I find that the earlier I go the better, especially with pollen so very high, I literally can't run as can't breath (asthma, hayfever) if go later in the morning. Know what you mean about craving a run on your rest days. Think it is still the high of the last run! Ha!

Not long for you now. Have you just one run left? 😊💪🏻

Yes, just one more! Was hoping to go today but had terrible night's sleep and the pollen is insane (have really bad hayfever and asthma) so going to try and get up even earlier tomorrow to try. Fingers crossed!

Yes get out there nice and early, it’s much nicer running when it’s cookout. Good luck tomorrow, we shall be looking out for your graduation post 😊💪🏻🏃‍♀️👩‍🎓

Thank you! Yeh i literally thought, this is just 30 minutes of my day, get out there girl and think of the benefits after a mere 30 minutes. How long do you have left now? 🌈🏃‍♀️

Doing 30 minutes for the first time tomorrow. Planned on it yesterday but because I was with a friend it was less. Maybe more than 20 minutes but really not sure.

Well done! I did week 9 run 1 this morning too, after five whole rest days, had a funny week, was worried I wouldn't finish, but now I'm on the home run :)

Thank you! Well done to you too. Sometimes our body does need a longer rest that the one or two rest days. Hopefully you felt much better for that longer rest 💪🏻🌈

I'm itching to run on my rest days too but respect that rest days are needed:)

I try and get out for a walk at least.

I'm on week 8 run 1 and I will make sure I am thinking about hydration on pre run days especially on these hot days.

Good on you, week 9 run 1 in the bag :)

That’s great, you’re on week 8, well done! Yes I must admit I need to hydrate more, I find that quite tricky, ensuring I drink 2.5 litres, I haven’t managed it as yet 🙈 there’s almost a mental task in achieving that during a day as there is to getting through a 30 minute run 😉😂 keep on running 💪🏻🏃‍♀️

Well done, not long to go now. Week 9 is a weird week I found. It's like you've completed because you can run the 30mins and then the thought of what to do next! But wow to how far you've come! 👏

I did my 2nd consolidation run really early this morning too. Running in the heat is a no no for me lol! I look like a beetroot anyway without adding the heat 🤣

Thank you! Two runs left. Ha yeh I was thinking that earlier, what will I do now I’ve no programme to complete being my incentive to get out there 😊🙈 ha me too, since the longer runs started, I’m constantly beetroot faced. Are you going out every other day still? What’s your plan with it? Well done on managing two consolidation runs already! 💪🏻😊🌈

I gave myself a couple of days rest before I started consolidation but I am going to carry on running every other day if I can. I just want to maintain the 30 mins or 5k at the moment. It wipes me out for the day lol so think I need to work on my fitness a bit more before trying to do more. Don't want to put myself off 🤣

Have you got an idea of what you want to head for?

2 🏃‍♂️ go for it 👏👍😊
