Just back from w5r1. The first couple of mins were tough & I wondered why on earth I was doing this to myself, but then I found my rhythm and all was good . The last two 5 min runs were fine, and I pushed myself a little harder, plodding a little quicker in the last minute, just to prove to myself mentally that I have more “in the tank” .
Really proud of myself to have come this far and feel positive for w5r2 😁

Very well done! I felt the same as you, but sounds like I had less in the tank at the end than you. For me, R2 with its 2 x 8 minute runs seemed much easier.
