After having a twinge in my calf after W5R1 was slightly anxious about today’s run ... however after taking all the advice from you kind people after W5R1’s post and going slightly slower, managed the run without incident ... still happy with 4.3km covered in the whole run (which includes the warm up /down walks.

The test will by R3 on Wednesday... full 20min of running ... and to think just 5 weeks ago I was putting on my trainers to run for the first time in decades !

Well done to you! Good news that your calf has recovered. Interesting that you covered 4.3K in the whole run, that’s kind of surprising, And you’re right, of course, look how far we’ve come! I’ll be doing R3 on Wednesday. Look forward to hearing how you get on with it. We can both do it!

Well done. The 20 min run seems a big jump but your body is now use to exercising for 30 mins now. Take it easy and you'll be fine.
