Feeling frustrated!!

Started couch to 5k about 4 weeks ago completed the first week but after the 3rd run was in extreme pain with my knees anyway I rested For the next 3 weeks doin knee strengthening exercises once I could. Just done week2 run1 n felt really gd until the last run and had to stop cause the knee started twinging and now feeling the pain again. help please I really enjoy the program and want to continue

Do you wear knee supports at all? I bought some off Amazon and they are amazing. I used to suffer really badly with knee pain when running but since the knee supports I haven’t had anything. I also find running slower while you build your strength is a great help 😊

Thanks for the reply yeah a knee support might be the way to go. If I go any slower I’d be stood still 😂

I had pains after wk1r1! Felt very dejected after it. But after resting a couple of days and doing the Japanese running, avoiding my usual heelstrike and slowing right down I've just managed 4weeks.

I've still been getting niggles in my knees here and there but not the pains I had in the first run yet....
