Hello, I graduated a 2 weeks ago, since then I’ve had a multitude of health probs, nine run related- sinusitis, tooth abscess’s, chest infection to name a few, unable to run due to exhaustion and pain.
I took my self outside yesterday, in my running gear just to see how it felt, I managed only a few min spurts but was glad I managed that.
I’m worried about losing the motivation, and can’t imagine running comfortably for 30 mins for the foreseeable future, any advice on where to go from here when I’m feeling healthier?

You don't lose significant condition in the first two weeks of non running, after that the loss is slow, so the chances are that you will be fine to pick up where you left off.
This happens to all of us and, when recovered, we have to do a gentle exploratory run to see what we are capable of managing and build a plan from there.
Thank you for your reply, I miss running so much, and feel like it’s all come to a stand still, I’ll just take it slow and sure for a while until my health improves and just keep focused on feeling better soon 😊
That’s really tough. My cure all really, depending when you can get back to running you could try this m.youtube.com/watch?v=9L2b2... It’s a low impact style of running (I run this was all the time) but you could use it just to ease yourself back on? Watch it a few times as there’s quite a lot going on in such a short film, but I’ve found the foot placement & landing style really useful. Hope you feel better soon.
