After the highs come the lows. Not the best start today. Legs and arms full of lead within first few mins... had to keep stopping, for a few seconds at a time. Should I have left it another day or so? Who knows. All v frustrating . Probably a good 15 mins before I relaxed into a decent rhythm but then I felt great! The added bonus of a very special running buddy (who got me into this C25K running malarkey in the first place, BTW) meant I kept on going...
Here’s the thing with buddying up with an experienced runner:
“What? We ran for how long? Bloody hell!”
One more C25K run to go. Eek!

Hey well done! I've done C25K on my own... sometimes I wish I had a running buddy. I mean, I have plenty on here, but I mean a physical person next to me!
Sorry to hear you had the dreaded lead legs. For me I found that it happened for 2 reasons. The first was totally a mental battle, and the answer was just to distract myself, music, something nice to look at, let my mind wander a bit. The second thing was that I might be running too fast, and to back off the pace. Usually the distraction of working out how much to slow down was enough to take my mind off the fact that my legs were complaining.
One more to go though... you know you can totally do this, right?
And, if you’ve seen his post, you’ll see it was the lovely @Iannodatruffe with whom I ran today... I’m sure he didn’t intend for us to run that long but we did!
