Week 7 Run 3

Double edged sword today. Run 3 was the slowest of the week, but felt by far the easiest. Struggling with my pacing, 2nd kilometre so much slower than the 1st with no real change in terrain. Definitely felt at the end like I could have run for 5 more minutes which I suppose is the point!!

So, good lessons there - slower is better, slower will help you go further and further - all the way to graduation. Second km slower than the first? Seasoned racers will often tell you their biggest mistake was setting off too fast! Pacing is notoriously tricky. The good news is, the longer the run the more time you spend at your natural comfortable pace and rhythm. You finished with energy left, so the run was a win. Even being aware of pacing is a good start. You're doing great. Nearly there now...
