From the 🥵 sweaty side.

Off the back of week 9 run 2 (yes delayed, week 9 has turned into a 12 day week for the 3 runs 🧐). I thought I would share a glimmer of hope for those maybe looking ahead from the early-mid weeks and thinking no way I can do this.

So what hasn’t changed over the weeks.

Still the first 5/10mins my mind is saying STOP 🛑 ✋.

Still the sweat 💦 absolutely drips off me from minutes in.

Still have to be hard on myself to get changed and get on with the runs.

What has changed I hear you ask?

The aches and pains, the intense cramps in my shins are all gone.

My legs are in better shape, happy to walk around in shorts

My breathing at the end of 30mins of shuffling returns to a calm/normal rate very quickly even though I look like I’ve run an ultra marathon.

So really what I’m saying, on the face of it you could be mistaken for all the hard work and mental challenge to get I with this, there hasn’t been much progress.

But scratch the surface and the signs are there, even after a few weeks

Stay positive people. 👏👏.
