Out for first run this week on a hot stuffy evening. Thought it might be a slow one as it was hard to get the breathing right. I was very pleased I took my cooling towel with me it is so effective. Well I listened to the times on my regular route and the times were still pretty fast even though I just wanted to just run I wasn’t concerned reference the time however when the 3 mile mark came up and the time was still pretty good I still found myself speeding up and running faster to the finish. The 5k was completed in 27.52 mins my 14th best time. I hope you all are still running and staying healthy.

Nice running... 14th best time? I assume it’s not a tracker telling you in that depth! Sometimes a slow start to a run can lead to a run that feels a lot slower than it actually is. Great time, especially in the heat.
I use strafforts.com linked to Strava and it gives you loads of distances and keeps a record of the number, your best one etc just find it interesting strafforts.com/
Ahh... I was thinking even Strava only gives me top 3 🤣. I’ll check it out.
It gives you 400metres, 1/2 mile, 1k, 1 mile, 2 miles, 5k, 10 miles, 10k 15k 20k and half marathon.
Now you’ve said that, I HAVE to look... no idea what my 15 & 20k PBs are! Not that I care of course... honest!
I only have a couple of them lol.
Ah... thinking about it I don’t have any... unless I manually export them from Garmin... I only linked Strava at the end of January and it didn’t get historic runs.
Can I ask what a cooling towel is... hopefully that's not a really silly question 🙈
